Now is your opportunity to work for Keeper Technology, a leading Data Storage company, in Ashburn, VA as an Inside Sales Specialist! In this role, you will identify and track prospects, work with engineers and executives to solve complex problems and parovide solutions to customers.

Duties include:

  • Identify target prospect companies and create lists for call campaigns
  • Develop strategies to acquire new business in assigned region/territories
  • Participate in lead generation call campaigns to uncover new business opportunities
  • Qualify lead generation calls and pull in company leaders and technical resources as needed
  • Acquire new customers by many different sales tactics including vendor campaigns, webinars/seminars, networking, social media, and referrals
  • Conduct research on various informative and contract award sites to maintain up to date knowledge on RFPs, awards, etc
  • Communicate status updates to Sales Operations Manager and other company leaders by documenting sales notes into the CRM and in weekly sales meetings
  • Set up meetings between Keeper Technology and prospects or current customers
  • Meet and exceed monthly performance goals
  • Keep CRM up to date with all relevant information including all sales activities, opportunities, and customer/client interaction
  • Research and quote opportunities for product and service fulfillment, using all available resources to satisfy the customer requirements at the most advantageous cost to Keeper Technology
  • Maintain a constant interest in learning new products available in the market as well as a deeper understanding of current product offerings to provide customers with the best solution for their environment
  • Establish ongoing business relationships with both government customers and technology clients
  • Developing new business lines for established product line
  • Primarily creating new business via cold calling and email

Qualifications include:

  • Previous experience with sales pipeline development and in an environment requiring monthly quotas
  • 3-5 years in the IT industry, preferably working with federal clients
  • 3-5 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably working with federal sales
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university strongly preferred
  • Previous prospecting experience, with cold calling and strategic hunter mentality
  • CRM/Salesforce and/or data storage/management industry experience preferred
  • Confident talking to strangers and developing relationships via telephone
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi task
  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment by having a positive attitude
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential company products and solutions to fulfill needs
